The second Bar Meet for the year will be at the Callville Bay Marina Bar at Lake Mead. That is about 30 miles (45 Minutes) from the east side of Las Vegas.|
Everyone, Couples, Single Men and Single Women are all welcome to the Bar Meet. Bar meets are pretty laid back and give everyone a chance to meet, socialize and get to know each other. There is no cost for a bar meet, everyone buys their own drinks at the bar.
About 11 p.m. there will be an after party at some houseboats in the Marina. Those that desire to come to the houseboats are welcome to come on down and party most of the night. At that point you must bring your own booze. We can not give or sell booze on the houseboats. We will have mixers and some light snacks for all to share.
Once again, all are welcome to come to the houseboats and party. Couples, Single men and women.
We ask that you make a donation of $20 per couple or $20 per single to come on down to the houseboats. That covers the cost of the mixers, ice, snacks and the houseboats. (Boats are not cheap guys, everyone shares the cost here) As with any party, no Drugs, No Drama and No means NO. Just because you get on the boat does not guarantee that you are going to get lucky.
For five years we held bar meets at different bars in the Las Vegas Valley. We stopped the bar meets back in 2004 and kept the parties going at the Vegas Red Rooster each weekend. We are still going to party at the Red Rooster but we are also going to host bar meets and beach parties at Lake Mead while the weather is nice this year. When we used to have monthly bar meets 75 to 100 people would show up and get to know each other. It will take time to rebuild to those numbers but this will be a great way to start
